Set in the heart of La Spezia during the prestigious Blue Design Summit 2026, Ferretti Group emerged as one of the event’s biggest winners, earning three major awards that celebrated innovation, Italian craftsmanship, and iconic yacht design.
The elegant Ferretti Yachts 800 won the “Best Motoryacht under 24 metres” award, impressing the jury with its bold styling, expansive spaces, refined interiors by IdeaeItalia, and seamless blend of performance and luxury living.
Riva also captured global attention, receiving the prestigious “Italian Yacht Ambassador” title while the cinematic Riva Cento launch campaign secured the “Best Advertising Video” award — recognising the brand’s ability to transform timeless Italian elegance into a true cultural statement on the international yachting stage.

Held from 18 to 20 May in La Spezia’s renowned Miglio Blu district, the Blue Design Summit brought together leading names from across the yachting industry to discuss innovation, sustainability, coastal development, and the future of yacht design. Ferretti Group played a central role throughout the summit, further reinforcing its influence within contemporary yacht culture and design excellence.

Ivan Polidoro, Director of Riva’s La Spezia shipyard, participated in the opening discussions focused on La Spezia’s growing role as an international design hub, while Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design shared insights into the philosophy and heritage behind over three decades of Riva design evolution.
